Busch Gardens-Directions

Busch-Gardens is located at the corner of Busch Boulevard and 40th Street. The park is:

Eight miles northeast of downtown Tampa

Two miles east of Interstate 275 at the Busch Boulevard exit

Two miles west of Interstate 75 at exit 265

Approximately one hour from Orlando via Interstate 4

Thirty minutes east of area beaches and Tampa International Airport

Busch Gardens-From the North:

This exit is also the exit for the University of South Florida.

Bear right on the exit ramp, and it will lead you directly onto Fowler Avenue.

Proceed west on Fowler Avenue to McKinley Drive. (McKinley Drive is the first light past the main entrance to the University.)

Turn left on McKinley. Proceed south on McKinley to parking and the main entrance to the park.

From the South:

Travel NORTH on I-75, past the intersection of I-4, to the FOWLER AVENUE exit 265.

This exit is also the exit for the University of South Florida.

Bear left on the exit ramp, and it will lead you directly onto Fowler Avenue. Proceed west on Fowler Avenue to McKinley Drive.

McKinley Drive is the first light past the main entrance to the University.)

Turn left on McKinley. Proceed south on McKinley to parking and the main entrance to the park.

Busch Gardens Rides

Cheetah Chase Busch Gardens

Travel to Timbuktu and you'll find young childrens' favorite ride in the park, Cheetah Chase.

This fun-filled family coaster is inspired by the playful side of one of the coolest and the fastest cats on the planet.

Congo River Rapids

Congo River Rapids will be closed September 20 - October 8, 2010 for maintenance.

Climb aboard for an exciting white water rafting expedition that will send you twirling down this racing river, where thrilling plunges, looming waterfalls and a mysterious water cave are just a few of the surprises it holds.

Busch Gardens-Gwazi-Ride

A colossal coaster with a record-breaking six fly-bys, Gwazi still reigns as one of the largest and fastest wooden double roller coasters on the planet and one of the favorites at Busch-gardens.

With crossing speeds of 100 miles an hour, it's easy to see why this legendary coaster has been recognized with so many consecutive awards by coaster enthusiasts.
