All buildings have exterior and interior themeing to match their names - such as 3 story tall cowboy boots at Country Fair, and 3 story jukeboxes and electric guitars at the Rock Inn.

Bedrooms measure 260 square feet in size - the smallest of all rooms on the Disney property.

The Disney-All-Star-Music.. is one of four value hotels located on Walt-Disney-World property.

All-Star-Sports, All-Star-Movie and Disney POP Century make up the other value resorts, all well worth a stay, especially if you are on a tight holiday budget.

Disney Hotels

Cheaper hotels in Orlando come no better than the Disney resort value hotels, they offer a safe environment for your children.

Being very affordable, they offer the same privileges as other Disney properties, including free convenient bus transportation throughout Walt Disney World; ability to charge purchases over to your Disney room account.

The food court is very reasonably priced.

Gifts purchased from the theme parks packaged and delivered to your Disney Hotel.

Clean themed pool areas, overlooked by life guards. Disney hotels have many organized children entertainment facilities.

An advantage of the All-Star-Music resort is the availability of Family Suites.

Each 520-square-foot Family Suites are located in the Jazz Inn and Calypso buildings at Disney-All-Star-Music.

Suites sleep up to 6 adults, plus one child in a cot

The master bedroom and family room have a 27" flat screen TV, ideal for keeping up to date with local and world news, most carry Disney programmes.

High speed Internet access is provided, usually a cable is hanging in the room, if not ask at reception and they will provide one for you.

Rooms include queen bed, sleeps two adults, full-size pullout sofa bed which also sleeps two people and a convertible ottoman.

Kitchenette is equipped with a microwave oven and small refrigerator. A coffeemaker is provided together with bags of coffee, tea and powdered milk. We love a cupper throughout the day, just ask the room service for more tea and coffee, they all ways oblige!

Disney Hotels Orlando

There are Value Season, Regular Season, Summer Season, Peak Season and Holiday Season rates. These are regular rate prices and do not include the Florida Sales Tax nor the county resort tax for Osceola County.

Rates are based on double occupancy. No charge for children under 17 years old... when in the same room as the adults. For each adult over 2 there is a £7.50p per night charge.

Special rates for Annual Pass Holders, or Florida residents do come up on a regular babies, make sure to ask when you book your holiday.

Family suite for the same period carries a rate of £120.00, great value, around £20.00 per night each.

There are two elevators in each building, staircase and a room with an ice making machine, ideal for cooling down those hot and humid Florida summer days.

Room views at the All-Star resort, preferred location are rooms situated closest to Melody Hall and food court within the Calypso building.

The remaining rooms may look on to the parking area, courtyard or the piano pool area.

Several of our friends have stayed at this hotel during summer months, all say they are excellent value for money; after all you will be spending most of your time in the theme parks.

All Walt-Disney-Rooms are none smoking; however there are many areas marked where smoking is permitted, just check out your park map or ask at the reception desk.

Walt Disney World

Calypso rooms are all in the preferred location room rate category. Jazz Inn buildings are the second closest buildings to the food court and surround the Piano Pool.

Country Fair is the farthest building from Melody Hall, but may also be the quietest! Country Fair is about 3 tenths of a mile from the bus stop, less than a 5 minute walk.

Parking surrounds the exterior of the buildings, so your car is convenient to all buildings.

If you face the centre of the resort, the closer you get to the main building the noisier it is likely to be.

Disney-All-Star-Music.. Food Court has a variety of foods to choose from, all at reasonable prices..

They include:-

Grocery items, 6am to midnight.

Bakery, baked goods and desserts.

A grill area.

Specialty shop

Pizza and Pasta, which I must admit are our favorites, plenty of pasta will help you with the energy needed for the parks, they are excellent but they do tire you out, take your time and enjoy your holiday.

Refillable mugs, are a must, you can buy them at the food court they allow unlimited drinks at any of the food courts during your stay at Disney.

Drinks, including Coke, Diet Coke, and Cherry Coke, Root beer, sprite and minute maid orange are available for the children, and moms and dads! A variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juices are all available for refills.

If your holiday is based on a tight budget.. these facilities will be very cost effective, much cheaper than eating in the theme parks.

Disney Hotels Florida

Recreation is limited to the Guitar and Piano pool areas, a small playground, a game room, and shopping. Pool area's do not have Jacuzzis.

However, you can visit other Disney resorts such as the Contemporary, the Beach Club, Fort Wilderness campground, or even Downtown Disney to participate in a wide variety of water sports and other activities such as tennis, horse back riding, and fishing.

Once again always ask at the reception desk area, they are very helpful and will inform you the best areas for you to enjoy your Disney Holiday.

Walt Disney World Orlando

A small variety of grocery items are also available, such as crisps, beer, cakes, and soft drinks. We have noticed grocery items, juice and milk are cheaper if purchased in the gift shop rather than the food court.

This is also the location where your items will be delivered if you chose resort package delivery at any of the theme parks, all purchse's will be sent back to your All-Star-Music reception area. I find this facility enormously beneficial, it saves time and effort, more time for you to enjoy your Walt-Disney-holiday.

Disney Orlando Florida

I have noticed bus routes change periodically.

Sometimes, busses stopped at all 3 All Star resorts when dropping off and picking up; other times just one All Star Resort is served.

Allow plenty of time when travelling to and from the Disney-All-Star-Resorts by Disney bus!

Buses arrive within 5-10 minutes, so the children and their anticipated excitement will not have too long to wait!.

I have waited over 30 minutes for a bus to arrive; these times seem to coincide with major park closing times, the Magic Kingdom being one of them.

Approximate Bus ride time:-

Blizzard Beach - 15 minutes

Disney's Hollywood Studios - 15 minutes

Epcot - 18 minutes

Magic Kingdom - 18 minutes

Animal Kingdom - 15 minutes

All-Star is one of the best cheaper priced hotels at Walt-Disney-World

Pools areas's are supervised during organized entertainment, so Mam's and Dad's relax! children will love the activities, face painting is a favorite, I have seen this activity all over the world, it does make you wish you were seven, all over again
