Don’t you just love those Disney-Characters?

One of the major attractions at Walt-Disney-World.. must be the Disney-Characters..I grew up with them!

I have some many interesting stories about Disney Characters...some funny. We tried to film the seven dwarfs on one trip...guess who forgot to remove the lense cap?..yes you got it..me.

Dopey! had a whale of a time laughing at my misfortune..Do you have a funny story?..do you wish to share it with our readers.

Pluto...was give us a bit of a fright, he was lurking around the Splash Mountain area....jumping out and surprising guests waiting to line on up for this popular attraction.

Mickey Mouse..pulled my hat over my eyes when trying to read the guide book I was reading...this made many on-lookers laugh!

I have created this page dedicated to all Walt Disney characters, from our old favorite friends, Mickey Mouse, Doanld Duck, Pluto.

Mickey Mouse:

Mickey, he must be your favorite, he has been through many design changes through the years.

In his first cartoon Plane Crazy, Mickey had no gloves or shoes and his eyes were large black ovals.

He first wore gloves when he sat down to play piano in the Opry House and by 1939 in The Pointer Mickey was shown with a pupil.

Over the years Mickey’s body became rounder and his face more expressive.

Through all of the changes though, Mickey has maintained his heartwarming personality that we’ve all come to love!

Disney-Characters-Pluto:

Pluto..I caught him on camera on the fire engine which rides up and down main street USA.

Donald Duck..fancy a dance? Lynn has enjoyed several interesting dances with Donald including a waltz in Disney Paris..

Disney-Characters are not shy..you may be..but just go up and shake their hands...get their autograph..take their pictures..these will be treasured for years.

Pluto wasn’t always Mickey’s dog, as far as I understand from research?, if you have some more information about Pluto I would love to hear from you.

He first appeared in The Chain Gang.. as one of the bloodhounds sent to look for Mickey, who had escaped from prison.

Then in The Picnic, his second film role, he had a new name:

Rover.

Guess who he belonged to - Minnie! From that point on though, he was called Pluto and was Mickey’s dog and best friend.

We have seen Goofy many times..he's funny too..always a very welcoming Disney-Characters in Magic Kingdom.

Lynn has acquired his signature in her book many times....they always look the same!

Jiminy Cricket...dapper little man..always turned out well..Jiminy is a favourite Disney Charcater of all time...he's funny when he takes his hat off to acknowledge his visitor.

The Magic Kingdom is superb for meeting and greeting...many children are a little shy on their first meeting...just give them some encouragement...they will come round!

He’s had some name changes over the years, being called Dippy Dawg and Dippy the Goof before becoming known simply as Goofy, one of Mickey’s hilarious pals that we have all come to know and love.

Good Old Donald.... I often laugh when I see him..he's funny and entertaing...do you have a funny encounter with Disney Characters, or do you have some information which would be of interest to our readers?

Was first seen in The Wise Little Hen.. back in 1934.

He was a big hit with audiences and his popularity continued to increase until he eventually starred in 128 cartoons! I understand that’s more than any other Disney character, even Mickey Mouse.

Here's a good tip when visiting Magic Kingdom, where all Disney Characters can be seen...look for the times when you can meet and greet them....these times are posted throughout the Kingdom...or...ask a cast member where you can see your Disney Character.

This is a great favorite of everyone "BAMBI" the little fawn who needed to do some growing up quickly.

This castle is the first thing that meets your eye as you walk into Magic Kingdom, Cinderella's castle. The story is a classic, where the poor sister is transformed into a beautiful Princess.

The most magical story ever told, the story of Snow-White and her friends the seven dwarfs.

These two Disney Characters,Chip-n-Dale are there to greet you in the Magic Kingdom, they are different, look at the color of their noses.

Now this little chap Jiminy-Cricket is sure to raise your eye, if you see hime in his top hat and walking stick.

Another excellent Disney story, you just might see Beauty-Beast and her Beast Prince in the Magic Kingdom!

Fly with the boy who never grew up, Peter-Pan another story which must have sent thousands of children to sleep, when read as a bedtime stroy.

See Disney-Belle in one of Disney theme parks, you can ask her for her autograph, make sure you have your book and camera ready, these will be treasured photographs for years to come.

Another new Character, you may meet Sheriff-Woody somewhere on your journey through the magic.

Keep looking, characters from Toy-story are seen on a regular basis in Disney World. Check the meet and greet notice board.

Another new Disney Character, Buzz-lightyear may be seen lurking in the Disney parks.
