Disney-Photos
Disney-Photos. Welcome to Orlando Florida Holidays. Photos tell so many stories, they really are better than reading a book. Here is a page or two of pictures taken in Disney Hotel area's as well as some taken in the the Disney theme parks, they develop a flavor, of that atmosphere, and what you can expect from your trip to Disney. The picture below shows me enjoying myself, yes I really do look as if I am having a great time. Lynn caught this when I was some where else, another world possibly? No just thinking, sometimes I sit or stand and think, other times I just stand. The latter is at work here. What the picture really shows is the thought process going on, if you look hard you can actually see the cogs spinning. Pure contemplation, now which park do we do today?, Magic Kingdom YES.

Brer Fox
Disney-Photos. This little character was up to his old tricks again, he reminds me of Brer Fox.This squirrel, was very differecult to catch up to , every time I got the camera ready he would shoot away. Taken during our leisurely walk to the breakfast hall at Disney Port Orleans. Eventually as you can see we caught him, the next few times I photographed this little chap, he virtually posed for the camera, so much for wild life photography. There are lots of birds to see in the Port Orleans Hotel. We always bring some bread from breakfast to feed them.

Port Orleans Dixie Landing
Disney-Photos. The water taxi conveniently awaits your company on a trip to Down Town Disney. You board the boat at the back of Port Orleans, it takes you on a leisurely trip down to where you can find such interesting places as the rain forest cafe, or the biggest Disney store in the World. If you like walking, Lynn and I do, you can walk or stroll to Down Town Disney, its a nice easy walk on a sunny Florida day. Your captain, will give you and your fellow guests an up to the minute description of what can be seen on either side of the Sasagoula river, if you decide to take the boat trip.

Port Orleans
Disney-Photos. Port Orleans is probably our favorite Disney hotel, its just right for those wishing to be in a Disney Hotel with all the facilities that comes with the booking. As you can see in the picture below, it is differecult to get lost in port Orleans, although having said that, we did once, making a wrong turn, but the sign posts as you see, direct you back on to your required pathway. I like the tree's and grass area's around Port Orleans, if you closed your eyes for a second or two, you can imagine been in the Dixie area at the turn of the century, which is exactly what Disney have created with this particular Hotel. There are lots of Ducks feeding around the river, rabbits too, watch them with your children as they pick off the juicy gree grass shoots.

The Magic Kingdom Castle
Disney-photos would not be complete without a look at my favorite Disney sight.Cinderellas castle meets your eye as you turn into the Magic Kingdom after walking through the check in gates. What a magnificent icon it is, it can be seen from many vantage points around Disney, but there is no better sight than seeing it just as you enter Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom, the street is the main one which runs all the way down to the Castle.

Chip and Dale
Disney-Photos. Having crossed from the real normal World, into Disney fanatsy World,Orlando, the best bit is yet to come. Characters! However I often wonder, is Disney real and the rest an illusion? Disney is full of real life size characters and who better to meet and greet you in the Magic Kingdom, yes Chip & Dale and their sister. I just love the Disney Characters, children will take to them like a duck takes to water. I'm often amazed at how well the characters mingle and lift children's spirits. Of course some children are a little shy at first but they will soon be number one fans of whoever character they meet. Disney, must spend a lot of time training their cast members, in the art of how to be a Chip or Dale.

Disney-Photos. Lynn and I always stop and pass a little time in conversation with Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. The most iconic photograph anyone could wish for, shown here at the entrance to Magic Kingdom is Walt Disney and Minnie Mouse, just sitting and smiling at the visitors as they walk by. I love the cast figures you see in Disney's Magic Kingdom, there are other's near to the performance area in front of Cinderellas Castle. If you look carefully at these cast figures, you can see how many hands have worn away the top surface away, this happens over time. People seem to be naturally drawn to these famous figures, and I know myself it is differcult, not to run your hands across them!

John Allsopp in Magic Kingdom
Disney-Photos. My turn to pose with Walt Disney and Minnie Mouse, I just can't resist sitting here and having a word in Mickey's ear. Thanks Lynn for the mistake, yes it is Minnie not Mickey, Minnie has a bow in here hair! Near to this seat their is a daily ritual. Soldiers march to the beat of a drum, as they hoist the Stars and Stripes, the bands are very entertaining in Disney. You will see more more Marching Soldiers during the daily parades in the Magic Kingdom. You may be lucky, and be asked if you would like to take part in the Parades, just think, you part of a Disney parade. Wow. From Disney-Photos, To the Disney Store
