Disney-Vacation-Club

Disney-Vacation-Club, is a vacation ownership program that's not only flexible and affordable, it's a convenient and

cost-effective way for you and your family to see the world—now and for years to come!

Many people have been asking about whether this is good value, read further it may be for you?

How Membership Works

The basis of Disney Vacation Club's Membership is its Vacation Points approach.

Disney Vacation Club is based on a Vacation Points system.

As a Member, you receive an annual allotment of Vacation Points—based on the size of your real estate interest—to use toward your vacations at Disney Vacation Club Resorts and any one of more than 500 Member Getaways destinations worldwide.

Vacation Points

Vacation Points

How it works is simple.

Your real estate interest in a Disney Vacation Club Resort is represented by a specific amount of Vacation Points.

The larger your real estate interest, the more days or bigger the accommodations you can enjoy.

And each year, you receive a new allotment of Vacation Points.

Of course, how you use your Vacation Points is completely up to you.

I must admit I have looked at this as a holiday saver, the only thing that puts me off, is the fact we would want to stay in a Disney Hotel, Orlando all the time, the distance in terms of hours flight hours, equals 9.5 hours.

It may be a better proposition if you live in Florida, and are within easy travelling distance to Walt Disney World.

You then decide do I want to go to Disney, for my holidays, each year? or do we want to see other countries, not covered by the Disney vacation club terms.

Accommodations

Disney-Vacation-Club. Accommodations

Enjoy accommodations at Disney Vacation Club Resorts and other Disney destinations, or at hundreds of locales through our Member Getaways program.

Depending on the size of your real estate interest and how you use your Membership, you can take one or several vacations each year.

Accommodations at Disney Vacation Club Resorts vary in size from Deluxe Studios for up to 4 people to Grand Villas for groups up to 12.

Larger accommodations require more Vacation Points. Smaller ones require less.

Banking & Borrowing Points

The flexibility also applies to how you can use your Vacation Points to achieve your vacation dreams from year to year.

Let's say you want to take the family on a really special vacation, like a 7-night cruise aboard Disney Cruise Line, and you don't have enough Vacation Points in your current allotment.

You can plan ahead and "bank" this year's Vacation Points so you can go on that ocean voyage next year.

Or if the trip can't wait, you can "borrow" some of next year's Vacation Points to go this year.

Add On as Your Family Grows

Disney-Vacation-Club. Your Membership can grow with your family's needs.

Currently, you can become a Disney Vacation Club Member with a real estate interest equal to as few as 160 Vacation Points.

As your family expands and your vacation needs change, you have the freedom to purchase an additional real estate interest.

It's a truly flexible system.
