Frightening-Disney-Characters

Yes when they first meet them, not all children like this huge famous mouse, Mickey Mouse, on their first meeting, but in my experience and I have a lot of Disney experience, children soon overcome their fears and before you can shake a magic Tinker Belle wand they are friends with these incredible Walt-Disney creations.

Santa Claus Disney

Children all react differently, take your time with your children if they are easily frightened, Santa Claus is a large and very powerful character and not everyone takes to him on their first impression, however, you grow to love him and can’t wait to see what he delivers to your stocking!

Brer Bear

Brer Bear is a larger than life character and over many years I have seen quite a few children shy away when they see this very adorable Bear coming towards them, think how you would feel if you were only five and a great big hairy cuddly bear was walking towards you.

Take your time with your kids if they shy away a little, introduce them gently to these wonderful Disney chums, soon your children will forget all their fears and become life long friends.

Mickey Mouse

Mickey has a very gentle way of introducing himself to his new friends, one way he does this and I have seen this over and over, he points out that he has a red coat like his guest or he’s wearing blue shoes like his guest, in actual fact he is telling children he has the same as they have, a wonderful natural introduction, it doesn’t work with all children, it’s just like school, not every one learns the same way.

Snow White Seven Dwarfs

The wicked witch from Snow White and the seven dwarfs is a frightening character, she still puts the fear of god into me, that nasty soul from 101 Dalmatians has the same horrible looking face and to some these characters are really scary, but treat your children gently with these types of characters, just like you would with anything else that gives them a fright, gently explain the story behind the character, lets face it they are going to come up against some awful people in life.

Disney transforms these life forming tales into good old fashioned stories to illustrate life, take your time and explain well.

Horace Horse Collar

Clara on the other hand is a very good looking cow who has a charctereristic way that is friendly and most small children seen instantly drawn to this very happy Disney character.

Donald Duck

Peter Pan

Goofy

Remember when you gaze at your children having so much fun and excitement how much work must go into training these adorable Disney characters, they must spend a great deal of time and expend a huge amount of energy to perfect all the moves you expect from a character.

What must it be like in those suits on hot days, Orlando does get very hot, we have been there when temperatures have soared into the 100’s and Disney still puts on a great show with their characters.
