I painted this portrait from pictures and video i obtained from the internet. Art has played a big part in my life since my days using Disney-coloring-books to copy and manipulate Mickey Mouse pictures..I did,nt know then but i was actually creating bespoke art-work.

This portrait took many weeks to complete..as you can see it has a lot of detail..detail is what i like..it makes art look reallylife-like.

My work starts from pictures..which i sketch onto quality art paper..many images are used to get a feel of the personality of the person i am attempting to create..this way you build up a picture in your minds eye..before starting the work.

I use glass plates to project the image onto my prepared canvas..projecting the image this way gives great looking perspective...its not a new technique..it was used by many artists..to capture perspective an realism.

You can buy projectors from good art shops..however if you would like to have your own bespoke hand painted portrait featuring your loved one...or your favorite pet..i will be offering you that service shortly from my website..Orlando-Florida-Holidays came about from our trips to Disney.

Disney was the start of my interest in art..Disney-coloring-books..i wonder where books will lead you? like everything in life if you want to be something or do something well you must practice..and learn from many sources..knowing after all comes from doing.

I,m going to offer a portrait service on this website shortly..and would like to thank the many people who have written to me...to ask for portraits...its very encouraging for any artist to receive praise for his or her work..many people in the creative field find comments from others..one of the main driving forces behind their continuation...both good and bad comments help artists create..without them I would certainly find it difficult to know what is working and what is not.
