Indian Rocks Beach is located on a barrier island on the West Coast of Florida, only a 30 minute drive from Tampa International Airport. The area offers excellent Hotel's and attractions for your vacation pleasure.

Indian-Rocks and the Gulf Boulevard

Gulf Boulevard runs North & South through Indian Rocks Beach. To the North is Belleair Beach and Belleair Shores to the South is Indian Shores & the Redingtons.

Across the Intracoastal via the Walsingham Bridge is the City of Largo.

On the West side of Gulf Blvd are the sandy beaches and a conglomeration of beach cottages, homes, high rise condominiums, and a few businesses.

Many waterfront condo's, townhouses, and single family homes East of Gulf Blvd.

Most with boat docking facilities. Indian Rocks Beach housing also includes many inland homes and complexes. Residents include young families, empty nesters, northern snowbirds, and active retirees.

Beach Accesses, with limited parking, are available throughout the city, and a Pinellas County Park provides public restrooms.

Indian Rocks and the CLEARWATER MARINE AQUARIUM

See and learn how to protect Dolphins, Otters, and Sea Turtles. The Aquarium is a non-profit facility dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick and injured marine animals.

Unique on the West Coast of Florida and one of only eight facilities in the United States authorized to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals.

Great for the Kids, Mam's and Dad's alike

A family will spend a couple of hours at this worthwhile attraction. Learn the biology and behavior of bottlenose dolphins, loggerhead sea turtles, Kemp's Ridley sea turtles, river otters, sting rays, local fish and coral reefs via daily presentations, "hands on" opportunities, and daily feedings.

Gift shop with educational items. Had too much beach or a raining day? Head for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium just off Clearwater Beach in Island Estates.

Age appropriate equipment is available for preschoolers to 12 years olds including swings, slides, monkey bars, a ship and one of the world's largest sand boxes.

Playground is open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Each night, from two hours before to two hours after Sunset, visit the Sunsets at Pier 60 street festival featuring local artisans and performers. Free.

The 1,050 foot fishing pier provides Gulf fishing opportunities for residents and visitors.
