About 500 people are working six days a week to get the park ready for its Oct. 15 opening. From the park's newly refurbished Island in the Sky, which takes riders 150 feet in the air for a bird's-eye view of the park, guests on Tuesday morning could already see Castle Hill, several of the park's roller coasters and an emerging Miniland, which includes a miniature Lego version of the New York City skyline.
$75 for an adult and $65 for a child
Legoland-Florida...."Right now, we're right on track ...and ready to open," said Craig Riebel, the park's construction manager, who estimated the job is 90 percent complete.The company said Tuesday that ticket prices, currently selling for a discount, will increase to $75 for an adult and $65 for a child... that day the park opens. Until, then, tickets are selling with a $10 discount.
