Everglades alligator Farm

We also have an amazing display of snakes, including exotic species from around the world. When you visit, you’ll experience a thrilling airboat tour, and explore our alligator farm. We invite you to join one of our informative wildlife shows, presented hourly. During the shows, you even get a chance to hold baby alligators and snakes. Imagine showing that photo to all your friends! The Everglades Alligator Farm is not a part of the Everglades National Park, but we have preserved an authentic atmosphere. Over the years, we’ve become one of Homestead’s most popular attractions. Jungle Island

Monkey jungle

The mission of this unique Miami attraction is to promote understanding of primates, and provide endless family fun! When Joseph DuMond, an inquisitive animal behaviorist, released six monkeys into the wilds of a dense South Florida hammock in 1933, he didn’t realize his endeavors would help shape the attitudes of many in the primatological and zoological fields. The release fifty years ago of that small Java troop signified the beginning of the larger thriving troop that runs free at Monkey Jungle today. A total of 30 species of primates are represented at Monkey Jungle, including gibbons, guenons, spider monkeys and colobus.
ZOO Miami

Prices are subject to change. The zoo is consistently rated among the top 10 zoos in the world. Zoo Miami houses more than 1,200 wild animals in a cageless setting lets you see animals in their natural habitat. When you visit the Zoo Miami, you’ll feel like you’re embarking on an international safari. We are not a typical zoo where you see animals behind barriers. Large, open-air exhibits let you enjoy wildlife and see animals at a safe yet remarkably close range.
Ancient Spanish Monastery

The Monastery of St. Bernard de Clairvaux was built in Sacramenia, in the Province of Segovia, Spain, during the period 1133-1141. It was originally dedicated in honor of the Blessed Mother and named the "Monastery of Our Lady, Queen of the Angels." Upon the canonization of the famous Cistercian Monk, Bernard of Clairvaux, a leading influence in the Church during that period, the Monastery was renamed in his honor.
Barnacle Historic State Park

Barnacle Historic State Park3485 Main Hwy, Coconut Grove, FL 33133 The Barnacle is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with tours at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m.; 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Friday through Monday and for groups by reservation Wednesday and Thursday. The park is closed on Tuesdays, New Year´s, Thanksgiving and Christmas days. Need a refuge from the hustle and bustle of modern life? Find it in the heart of Coconut Grove at The Barnacle Historic State Park. Nestled alongside beautiful Biscayne Bay, this park gives you an authentic experience of Old Florida. The Barnacle was the home of Commodore Ralph Middleton Munroe, one of Coconut Grove´s most charming and influential pioneers.
Coral Castle

Dixie Hwy., Homestead, FL 33033 The historic Coral Castle is open Sunday-Thursday 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Friday-Saturday 8 a.m.- 9 p.m. Adults $9.75, children (7-12) $5, children (under 6) no charge, senior citizens (62+) $6.50. Coral Castle is a historic Miami attraction. Giant pieces of coral rock were carved into a variety of objects by Edward Leedskalnin in the 1920s, as a tribute to unrequited love. If you had visited Coral Castle 60 years ago, you would have been greeted enthusiastically by Mr. Leedskalnin. He would have asked you for ten cents admission and introduced you to his fantasy world carved out of stone.
Coral gables merrick house
Miami-attractions. Coral gables merrick house907 Coral Way, Coral Gables, FL 33134 The Merrick House is the boyhood home of George E. Merrick, founder and developer of the City of Coral Gables. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this house is a landmark of Florida history. It originally began as an 1899 frame house, with an addition added in 1907. The addition was made of coral rock from a nearby quarry. Althea Merrick, George Merrick’s mother, lived in the Merrick House from when it was built until her death in 1937. The park is open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays for guided tours at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Suggested admission, which includes the guided tour, is:- $5 for adults, $3 for seniors/students/group tours, $1 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under 5 years old.
Deering Estate Cutler
Miami-attractions. Deering Estate Cutler16701 SW 72nd Ave., Miami, FL 33157 Deering Estate at Cutler is a 444-acre Estate offering tours of endangered natural areas, historic and archaeological sites, guided canoe trips to Chicken Key, recreational facilities, and a breathtaking view of Biscayne Bay. The park contains the restored Richmond Cottage, portions of which date back to 1896, and the Mediterranean Revival winter home of Charles Deering, completed in 1922. Open daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Last ticket sold at 4 p.m. Adults $7, children $5. General admission is $7 for adults and $5 children (ages 4-14) and includes tours of the Stone House, Richmond Cottage, and natural areas. Special EcoAdventure Tours and guided canoe trips to Chicken Key are available for an additional fee.
