Mickey-Mouse....was created by Walter-Elias- "Walt" Disney. Walt was born on December 5, 1901, and died on December 15, 1966.

Walt-Disney was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon and philanthropist, some think of Walt as a Genius and creator....who would disagree with such a statement.

I grew up with Disney...I’m fifty ish.. And still remember the classics. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Who could forget Doppy?..Poor little soul. he was always the last in the bunch.

Walt-Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the twentieth century. As the co-founder, with his brother Roy O. Disney, Roy was very much the business brain within the partnership he kept hold of the purse strings!

Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion about £20 billion pounds.

However you must go and see Disney in Florida... no wonder it makes so much money, its a delightful place with lots of happy smiling people...I’m never sure during our trips if adults get more out of Disney-World than the children. There again adults are really just big children at heart!

I love to hear the giggles from very small children after they are chased a little by their cartoon characters especially Mickey-Mouse.. It’s unbelievable.

Never to be forgotten...old folks giggle as well. And why not it is the fun packed capital of the entire world.

Walt Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design.

He and his staff created a number of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey-Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice.

The magic kingdom in Florida is where you can see this cheerful mouse and his wife Minnie and where they live. It’s an absolutely brilliant piece of well thought out and designed architecture...it’s a must see attraction.

Walt-Disney has won 26 Academy Awards out of 59 nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards.

He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt-Disney-World Resort theme parks in the United States, Japan, France, and China. I have been lucky enough to travel to the Euro Disney complex in France from here in the United Kingdom.

It’s easy to get there from many regional airports and of course you can travel by Euro-Star train.

I found France Disney to be very entertaining however Florida with its warm sunny weather and larger park has much more to offer. But if you want a taster. I would thoroughley recommend Euro Disney!!
