Princess-Diana-Disney

Princess-Diana-Disney

Princess Diana by John Allsopp, what is the connection I hear you say! Between John Allsopp & the late Princess Diana, and a website about Orlando Florida, the answer is to change yourself from I cannot do that to I can do that!

June 22nd 2009, an exhibition opened in Down Town Disney to mark the extraordinary life of this sadly missed Princess.

Princess Diana By John Allsopp

Princess Diana.

Princess-Diana-Disney. My tribute to this wonderful lady is a portrait, in oil, on Belgium linen canvas. My aim was to capture that enticing smile and appealing eyes, well known to everyone who followed Princess Diana.

Portraits are something I have enjoyed looking at for many years, people after all need to be painted in realistic fashion or you loose the point of your artwork, its no good producing a work of art that does not represent the subject.

Royal Disney Painting

Princess-Diana-Disney. It goes without saying that my work will be judged on that point, from now and well into the future.

My intention was simply to pay tribute to Diana, in the only way an Artist can, by painting her.

This Royal work was signed by Lord Puttnam who was a personal friend to the late Princess, if you look hard at the bottom of the print, you can see his signature.

Disney formed the basis of my Artistic training, I would buy Disney Coloring books as a boy, and paint Mickey and Pluto in none conventional colors, that way they stood out and made them unique.

Disney Characters

Princess-Diana-Disney. I love the paintings and sculptures of different Disney figures; you can buy them in the Disney-Magic-Kingdom.or over the internet via the:-

Disney Store.

You can be creative, I tell people who say they are not creative, to try it, believe me everyone can be as creative as me, and you only need simple tools. Your head is this tool, just say I’m going to do this, and do it, simple really. Remember the longest journey starts with. Your first step of intention.

I believe in the probability theorem, which goes something like, if at first you do not succeed, keep trying until you do! Eventually something has to work.

Children and Disney

My creativity extends one further step from producing a portrait, I have just sent off my original painting to a flat bed scanning firm to have the work captured in a huge JPEG, which will be used to reproduce the Original Princess Diana work.

My aim is to publish the print.

One thing I thought about when considering printing was to help a charity to send terminally ill children to Disney World, Florida.

I think Princess Diana would have liked that, she always had time for the under privileged children and those with little life left.

Disney & Smiles

Many people have said the painting, “Makes them smile, and you feel happy” that’s great something to help you smile and be happy is worth doing, don’t you agree?

It all started many years ago when I bought a few inexpensive coloring books, featuring Mickey Mouse, Pluto and a number of other well known and loved Disney Characters.

Disney is my passion and has been for many years, just read the detailed webpages on this website to learn about Orlando Florida and her excellent range of attractions.

You never know there may just be another child walking around the Magic Kingdom, with a keen eye for detail, he or she may become interested in Art, and start to draw Mickey Mouse all over again.
