Sandy White Beach offers a beautiful spot to relax at Disney's Typhoon-Lagoon Water Park.Rest, relax and unwind at this white-sand beach with scenic waters, magnificent palm trees and picturesque landscapes. Here Guests of all ages can take a pleasant break from the active Water Park attractions. Sandy White Beach ..feels like a tropical island vacation where you can grab a hammock or lounge chair, lay down and let your cares drift away. With soft sand, enticing waters and close access to food and beverages, this relaxing stretch of sand is the perfect place to take it easy and have it made in the shade! Sandy White Beach is located adjacent to the Crush 'n Gusher attraction at Hideaway Bay.

Shark Reef is a snorkeling adventure with sharks for big kids, teens and adults at Disney's Typhoon-Lagoon Water Park.Enter a captivating underwater world and see some incredible saltwater sea life up-close. Swim freely with leopard and bonnethead sharks, stingrays and schools of colorful tropical fish in this fascinating coral reef environment. The reef surrounds an overturned sunken tanker. Less adventurous Guests, or anyone who just wants to get a spectacular view of the sharks without getting wet, can enter the tanker and view the undersea creatures through the portholes. All the equipment you need to swim in the Shark Reef tank including snorkels, masks and lifejackets is provided at no additional charge. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult. If you would like to spend even more time exploring the waters of Shark Reef, you can extend your experience using tanks. Visit Hammer Head Fred's Dive Shop and ask about the SAS (Supplied Air Snorkeling) system. This equipment is available at an addtional charge.

Each of the high-octane body slides zips you down 3 stories through caves, waterfalls and geysers then drops you into an invigorating pool at the bottom. This tangled trio of twisting waterslides offers waves of excitement with 3 different body slides to choose from: Jib JammerStern BurnerRudder Buster Storm Slides are located near the Humunga Kowabunga attraction. Climb the right slope of Mount Mayday to get to these attractions. Fact These slides could send Guests off at about 20 miles per hour. The slides run about 300 feet and each offers a different view and experience.

Surf Lessons.. at an additional cost are available for Guests age 8 and older at Disney's Typhoon-Lagoon Water Park.Ever wanted to try surfing but found the ocean a bit intimidating? Now, Guests who are at least 8 years old can learn how to surf in a fun, safe, controlled environment. Hang 10 in the waters of Typhoon Lagoon! Have the bay to yourself before the Water Park opens to master the fine art of shooting the curls created by the Disney's Typhoon Lagoon enormous wave machine. Professional instructors.. and small classes at Craig Carroll's Cocoa Beach Surf School can help anyone improve their form during a 2-hour session where there's surf every 90 seconds. The Learn to Surf program is offered on select days prior to Park Opening. The entire session is 2.5 hours. Times may vary by season and are subject to change. Surf the controlled waters of the bay as perfect waves are formed every 90 seconds and ride like it's an endless summer. The Surf Pool waves can be adjusted up to 6 feet in height. It's totally tubular! Note that surf lessons take place in the early morning before Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park opens and the lesson price includes use of the Surf Pool and facilities at:- Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park only during the lesson. You will need to purchase admission to the Water Park if you want to stay in the Park after the lesson. Spectators are welcome!. so bring your family and friends!
