Universals-Hard-Rock. If you are planning a trip to Orlando Florida you must see Universal Studios, they are very entertaining.

Lynn and I have visited Universals-Hard-Rock, this iconic Hotel is superb, many of our friends and readers of the website have been there and loved it. Our memories of King Kong and Twister in Universal Studios, still bring a smile to our faces today.

Jaws, the experience is truly breath taking, this huge life like shark nibbles at the side of your boat, its very entertaining, just think how many hours have been spent putting this show together.

Remember to have your picture taken with the shark model located in Universal-Orlando, many people including Lynn and I stood inside its mouth for our photograph.

Universal's Hard Rock Hotel > ORL > 5800 Universal Blvd > Orlando > FL > 32819>Location. Universal's Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Fla., is located on the premises of Universal Studios Orlando. The hotel is within one half mile of Wet 'n Wild and two miles from International Drive. Special theme park benefits include Universal Express ride access to bypass regular lines at most attractions and rides, complimentary resort wide transportation via water taxis or shuttle buses and priority seating at select Universal Orlando restaurants.
Hotel Features. The seven story hotel displays a vintage 1956 Chevy and a giant fountain with 42 guitars spouting water towards the ceiling. The California style mission architecture and rock memorabilia displayed throughout the hotel exhibit the soul, spirit and attitude of rock and roll. The hotel offers an enormous heated pool with a sandy beach, 240 foot slide and 12 underwater sound speakers. The Workout Room features an exercise equipment studio, steam rooms, sauna and spa tub. Guests have access to the hotel's Golf Universal Orlando program. Kids activities are available at Camp Lil' Rock, the hotel's supervised children's activity center. Evenings bring movies under the stars at the hotel's weekly poolside "dive in" movies. Dining options include buffet style breakfasts at The Kitchen, poolside cocktails at Beachclub and the famed New York steakhouse, The Palm.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms decorated with chocolate brown and lime green tones that include rock and roll artwork. Amenities include 32 inch, flat screen televisions, high speed Internet access for a fee and CD players. Bathrooms boast dual sinks, makeup mirrors and Bloom toiletries. Club Level guestrooms offer special amenities in The Hard Rock Club Lounge such as a complimentary breakfasts, evening hors d'oeuvres and an extensive music library.

Expert Tip On the last Thursday of each month (excluding November and December), you can enjoy live music at the hotel's "Velvet Sessions," Orlando's only rock and roll cocktail party. Past performers included Joan Jett, Foreigner and The Go Go's.
