Disney, what is it really like, is it as much fun as it is made out to be, answer YES it is, Disney is very entertaining for all the family, doesn’t make any difference how old you are.

Walt-Disney-travel. Lynn and I have seen many happy grandparents having a hug, with Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Disney has an uncanny way to make you feel at ease in their theme parks. What the food like in Disney, yes it can be expensive to eat in the Magic Kingdom, but they doe serve good portions.

When to go to Disney, well if you like it quite hot, 90 degrees plus go in June July, Lynn and I have experienced some of the hottest weather at this time of the year. Too hot for you, try the end of the year, October, November, there is still plenty to see and do then.

Disney Hotels

Walt-Disney-travel. Are the Disney Hotels worth the price, you must decide on this one. If you book a Disney Hotel you have advantages, free travel to and from the theme parks, it does save the hassle of having to drive and park up. The buses are frequent and can be picked up near to your hotel.

Disney Hotels have themed decoration, which adds to the magical feeling, children are well catered for in all Disney Hotels, fancy a day off from visiting the parks? well there is something to keep you and your family amused at the Disney Hotels.

Disney

Walt-Disney-travel. Buying presents and mementoes for friends and family back home, well Disney caters for this very well. Suppose you bought a large cuddly toy, no need to carry it around the theme parks, Disney will deliver it to your hotel reception, FREE.

One advantage of staying on site is the extra hours you as a Disney Guest will receive. Some attractions like Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain do get busy, no problem go early with your extra time and avoid big lines.

Disney unlimited pass

Walt-Disney-travel Disney unlimited pass is worth its weight in Gold, there is a lot to see for everyone in Disney, believe me you will need to go back and forth to experience Disney, buy a ultimate pass, its cheaper in the long run.

Talking of rides, the fast pass is convenient, to avoid lines waiting to board something like Space Mountain, get a ticket from the machine and come back to the attraction on time, you will be let-in buy a cast member.

Magic Kingdom

Special treats and gifts, yes Disney has them all. Many shops in the Magic Kingdom have exquisite and unique gifts only available there, I do like the hand crafted figurines and Disney hats, you can even get a hat with Pluto or Mickey Mouse ears.

Nightlife in Disney, well it is family orientated, you can walk around the Boardwalk area near to Epcot and watch street entertainers, or sit a have a cool relaxing drink at one of the street cafes.

Downtown Disney

Need more Night life, young at heart? head for the Disney Downtown area and rock and roll till you drop! There are some excellent adult entertainment, bars, restaurants and of course music to dance away through the night.
