Animal Kingdom is it worth the money?

Disney is not cheap, however it is very well organized and extremely entertaining for all the family. Animal kingdom is no exception, where else will you see a magnificent tree carved with an abundance of animals, sitting over a sophisticated visual and audiotronic masterpiece, called a bugs life.

A Bugs life is a real treat, many clever audio and visual affects with one or two water sprays take you through a journey of discovery, where you will learn about why we should think of bugs as friends.

Animal kingdom is different to the other Disney parks, they all have their own signature, Animal kingdom is a mix of real wild animals which you can see and learn about, many are housed in very life like all be it manmade habitats, but Disney do work hard to create natural environments. There is an Africa safari ride where you get the feel of being on a real Safari. There are many superb exhibitions including Hippo pools where you can see these interesting animals from under water, in a specially build observation display.

Many static habitats housing exotic animals, I enjoyed watching the naked mole rat colony, unusual little animals that look like moles and yet they have no fur, most strange but nevertheless amusing. Meer cats scuttle to and froe in their African savanna home, standing as they do on hills to survey the surrounding areas; they are looking out for predators just as they would back home.

Birds from tropical locations fly around covered in aviaries which you can walk through and admire beautiful highly colored plumage, their calls are hypnotic and entertain you as you walk slowly through these well designed natural home environments.

I do like watching the Mountain Gorilla population, these are truly magnificent beasts that are so much like ourselves, the giant silver back is a beautiful dominant character who looks you up and down as you peer into his eyes, they are very intelligent animals and their body language and eye movement prove this point to all on lookers, there is nothing more satisfying to be looked straight in the eye by a Gorilla.

Live trapeze demonstrations take place in a large arena, I have seen the lion King story acted out here, it was outstanding, the costumes were amazing the music and dancing hypnotic and many people were asked to join in, children parents and grandparents will love it, they will treasure their memories of Animal Kingdom for years to come.

Disney is very well worth the visit, where can you enjoy two large exciting water parks and four major theme parks, many receiving praise and awards for their ingenious use of technology and good old fashioned fun, Disney is lots of laughs and entertainment, it is very interesting and extremely well designed, there are experience and displays which you will see no where else. Animal Kingdom is definitely worth it; pound for pound it is worth its weight in gold when it comes to an entertaining family holiday. There are more satisfied customers returning from a Disney holiday than any other resort, in the World.
