If you have ever dreamed of bringing your school or youth group to Disney for a vacation, there are several youth group sponsored activities the school may qualify to join. In order to participate, the group must include at least 10 members. The participants in the group are granted discounts on their accommodations and theme park tickets. Here are the current available activities:

1. Disney Magic Music Day – In order to take part in this opportunity, auditions must be performed. The students allowed to participate must be in either middle or high school. The Music Day opportunities are available year round. Participants perform by instrument, vocally or by dance. To inquire call 866 242 3617 for instruments opportunities, 866 578 4823 for vocal opportunities and 866 578 4827 for dance opportunities.

2. Festival Disney – Middle school and Junior and Senior High students are welcomed to perform in the spring. Performance types include concert band, marching bands, vocal ensembles, and orchestras. It is your choice whether you would like to participate in the competition or not. Performances are held at Saratoga Springs, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney. Call 877 939 6884 to learn how you can attend!

3. Disney Jazz Celebration – Held during the same time as Festival Disney, this Celebration allows middle and high school jazz ensembles the opportunity to perform. Call 866 842 3340 to book.

4. Disney Youth Education Series (“YES”) – Students from elementary through high school are given the opportunity to experience real-world learning at the Walt Disney World theme parks.

If you have had any experiences with these youth group opportunities, please comment. This helps others plan and learn.
