Orlando Science Center: Greenovations set for Saturday
The Orlando Science Center is planning a day of programming devoted to eco-friendliness called Greenovations.
Activities on Saturday, Oct. 15, will include demonstrations about reducing your carbon footprints; performances by the Garbage Men (teens with instruments made of recycled parts); ecological instruction from the “Worm Lady;” Segway demonstrations; conservation-driven films; rides in electric vehicles including the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf; visits in the “Harry’s Big Adventure: My Bug World” exhibit and more.
Admission to the science center has been dropped to $5 for the day. Greenovations hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
